Filter Feature

Microsoft Intune Importer for JSM Assets includes two filters that let you control exactly which data is imported into JSM Assets. Use these filters to keep your asset schema lean and avoid importing unnecessary object types or attributes.

• Object Type Filter – Select which of the 10 object types (Users, Managed Devices, Manufacturers, Models, Operating Systems, Operating System Versions, Device Categories, Applications, Autopilot Devices, Endpoint Analytics) are imported. Deselect any object type to skip it entirely during import.

• Attribute Filter – Choose which attributes are imported for each object type. This allows you to limit imported fields to only those your team needs, reducing noise in JSM Assets.

Filters are configured in the Import tab of the Microsoft Intune Importer app. Open the app in your JSM project settings, navigate to the Import tab, and expand the filter options before running or scheduling an import.
