Directory Extension Attributes - Enhanced UX

We've improved the Directory Extension Attributes feature with better user experience and data handling:

Clear Buttons: Each of the 20 directory extension attribute slots now has a dedicated "Clear" button, making it easier to remove unwanted mappings without manual deletion.

Improved Placeholders: Updated placeholder text from "Enter value" to "Select a value" to better reflect the selection workflow using the attribute picker modal.

Empty Value Handling: Enhanced backend logic to filter out empty or whitespace-only values, preventing storage of invalid attribute mappings and ensuring only valid extension attributes are included in user imports.

Documentation Update: Updated the Admin Configuration documentation on Confluence with detailed sections explaining how the feature works, step-by-step configuration guide, and technical implementation details.

These improvements make it easier to configure and manage directory extension attributes from your Azure AD applications.

Access Packages & Catalogs Import (Entra ID Identity Governance) 

You can now import Access Packages and Catalogs directly from Entra ID Identity Governance. 

Access Packages

 Import Access Packages with full details including Name, Description, Created Date, Modified Date, and visibility status. The importer also fetches enriched data for each package: Resource Groups linked to the package, Resource Applications linked to the package, Resource SharePoint Sites linked to the package, and Assigned Users with active assignments. Access Packages are automatically linked to their parent Catalog. 

Catalogs Import Access Package Catalogs with Name, Description, Catalog Type, State, and Created Date. 

Batch API Support Access Package details (resources and assignments) are fetched using the Microsoft Graph Batch API for improved performance. 

Permission Check 

EntitlementManagement.Read.All is now included in the Check Permissions feature. (Note: You'll need to upgrade your schema and grant the EntitlementManagement.Read.All permission in your Azure App Registration to use these features. Access Packages and Catalogs are optional and disabled by default.)

Most objects — such as Departments, Cities, and others — now include corresponding attributes, improving data consistency and query capabilities.

Bug Fix: Extension Attributes

Fixed an issue with extension attributes. The importer now supports up to 999 applications without error.

When configuring your Azure connection:

  1. Choose the desired Azure environment (US Government or Global Service).

  2. The platform will automatically use the correct Graph endpoint.

This ensures seamless authentication and data access across both environments.
