Computer Extension Attributes

  • Computer Extension Attributes can now be imported into JSM Assets as fields on the Computers object type.

  • Use the new Extension Attributes section in Admin > Connection Settings to discover and select which attributes to include in each import.

  • Up to 10 extension attributes are supported. The schema includes 10 predefined slots (Extension Attribute 1–10). Rebuild your schema to apply the new fields.

  • Extension attributes are discovered from live computer inventory data — attributes must have at least one value assigned on a computer to appear in discovery.

  • New Dashboard tab on the Introduction page showing import overview, compliance metrics and trend graphs.

  • Compliance tracking for Computers (Managed, Firewall, SIP, Recovery Lock) and Mobile Devices (Managed, Supervised, MDM Capable, ADE Enrolled).

  • Each compliance item shows related framework references (SOC 2, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmark, NIST SP 800-53, PCI DSS) with detailed descriptions and remediation tips.

  • Import duration, object count, and compliance trend graphs per import.

  • Dashboard automatically becomes visible after the first successful import.

Computer Prestages (Beta)

  • Computer Prestage Enrollments are now available as a beta feature.

  • Enable Prestage import from the Import Settings page.

  • The API role must have the Read Computer PreStage Enrollments privilege enabled.

  • Prestages are imported alongside Computers and can be viewed as a new Object Type in JSM Assets.

User & Location Field Enhancements

  • Added Email Address field to Computers and Mobile Devices.

  • Added Phone Number, Position, Room, Department ID, and Building ID fields to the Users object type.

  • Upgrade your schema to apply these changes.

Go to Jamf Device Link

  • Added a direct "Go to Jamf" link on Computer and Mobile Device records, similar to the existing "Go to Intune" feature.
