Vanta - Source Configuration

Generate Vanta API Credentials

To authenticate with Vanta, an application must be created in the Vanta developer portal.

Follow the Creating a New Application section in the Vanta documentation:

During the application setup, ensure that you select:

App Type: Manage Vanta

Once the application is created, copy the credentials generated by Vanta. These will be used when configuring the source in the Multi-Source Importer.

Create the Source

  1. Navigate to Multi-Source Importer.

  2. Open the Source page.

  3. From the list of available integrations, click the Vanta tile.

  4. Fill out the Name, Client ID and Client Secret.

  1. Select Add Source button. The Source will be added to the list.

  2. The next step is configuring the Destination: Destination Configuration for MultiSource Importer for JSM Assets.
