Salesforce Connector for Teamwork Graph
The Salesforce Connector for Teamwork Graph allows you to securely sync CRM data (Accounts and Opportunities) from Salesforce into Atlassian’s Teamwork Graph. Once connected, Salesforce data is discoverable via Confluence Search and accessible to Rovo AI for richer, contextual answers.
Prerequisites
An active Salesforce account with API access enabled.
Rovo admin permissions to add and configure connectors.
A valid Salesforce Client ID and Client Secret (from your Salesforce connected app).
Installation
1- Log in to your Jira or Jira Service Management site.
2- Click the Apps dropdown and choose the “Find new apps” option.
3- Search for the Salesforce Connector for Teamwork Graph app and click on the app tile.
4- Click “Get app” to start installing your app.
5- You're all set! Click “Close” in the “Installed and ready to go” dialog.

How It Works
Setup
Add the Connector
Navigate to Rovo Admin → Connectors.
Click Add Connector.
Select the Salesforce Connector
Enter Credentials
Give a name to the new connection. For example, “Accounts and Opportunities”.
Provide your Salesforce Client ID and Client Secret.
Click Save to ensure that credentials are encrypted and stored securely.
Verify the Connection
Open the Salesforce Connector app. You can find it under the Manage Apps menu in Jira.
Switch to the Salesforce Credentials tab.
Click the Check Connection button to verify that your credentials are valid and that Salesforce API access is confirmed.
Scheduling Configuration
Flexible Scheduling – Choose the hours at which you would like the synchronization to run in the background without manual interaction.
Configure automatic syncs to occur hourly or daily.
Optionally, trigger a manual synchronization at any time.
Usage
Search in Confluence – Once data is synchronized, Salesforce records are indexed in Teamwork Graph. This may take 5–10 minutes, depending on the size of the data. Your Salesforce content becomes searchable in Confluence through Teamwork Graph, enabling Rovo AI to surface relevant answers.
You will find the Salesforce Connector on the right side of your Confluence search page. It’s easy to filter the results by clicking on the connector icon.

Troubleshooting
Invalid credentials error → Verify your Salesforce Client ID and Client Secret.
No data in search results → Check filters and confirm a sync has run successfully.
Sync delay → Ensure scheduling is set correctly (hourly vs daily) and wait 10–30 minutes for indexing to finish.
